Logistics Coordinator

Duties Include:
  • Take direction from Logistics Manager to coordinate the flow of inventory in and out of the warehouse with consistent communication between team members
  • In-house environment consists of working in the warehouse (varying temperatures), as well as driving a box truck
  • Load the right inventory for the day efficiently and protect furniture from damage
  • Transport furniture, artwork, accessories to and from properties in top condition
  • Unload truck and set up of furniture on-site using protective materials
  • Receive furniture deliveries and stock on shelves safely after recorded in inventory
  • Assemble, repair, tighten and refurbish furniture
  • Record incidents and turn in incident reports weekly
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, including trash to dump and recycling dumpster
  • Follow safety guidelines and checklist procedures
  • Work closely with Sales, Stagers, Office Admin for flawless execution of staging & destaging jobs
  • Occasional de-staging of vacant and occupied homes
  • Work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday 8:00 – 4:00
  • Attend team huddles, monthly team meetings, quarterly team building events
  • Cross training in other aspects of operation such as inventory management and light administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Detail oriented
  • High-level professionalism
  • Superb driving record
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. with ease
  • Computer savvy and experience with Word, Excel, Dropbox, Google Calendar
  • Work out of our Virginia Beach office and warehouse as home base
  • Previous moving experience required
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout the Hampton Roads area
  • Be a self-starter and be able to work productively independently as well as with a team
  • Must be able to successfully multi-task and think on your feet
  • Creative problem solver with regards to staging projects and client situations
  • Employment may be conditional and subject to criminal background checks and/or drug screening prior to or during employment

Lead Stager

Duties Include:
  • Take direction from Stager Manager
  • Lead both vacant and occupied staging projects from signed contract to installation
  • Work with property owners and real estate professionals, and have an ability to overcome objections when necessary
  • Includes meeting and coordinating logistics with clients, creating the staging plan, selecting and coordinating all inventory in warehouse, creating job listings in our inventory system, assigning inventory, overseeing loading of furniture both for transportation as well as installation, on-site management of staging, and ultimate responsibility for design decisions and execution of staging plan.
  • Keep soft goods inventory area organized
  • Occasional de-staging of vacant and occupied homes
  • Assist with warehouse organization both for staging and de-staging
  • Work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday 8:30 – 4:30
  • Attend team huddles, monthly team meetings, quarterly team building events
  • Occasional furniture receiving and assembly
  • Collaborate on design projects with stager team
  • Work with builders to select finishes for new builds and spec homes
  • Cross training in other aspects of operation such as inventory management and light administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. with ease
  • Computer savvy and experience with Word, Excel, Dropbox, Google Calendar
  • Work out of our Virginia Beach office and warehouse as home base
  • Previous design experience required, home staging experience highly recommended
  • Two year minimum previous customer service experience required
  • Associates degree or higher preferred in related design field, staging certification highly recommended
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout the Hampton Roads area
  • Be a self-starter and be able to work productively independently as well as with a team
  • Must be able to successfully multi-task and think on your feet
  • Creative problem solver with regards to staging projects and client situations
